I went out onto the Heath on election day to free my mind of party politics. I took quite a few shots, having found a heron, and a parakeet, amongst other things, but this picture was a keeperI found the bright green sapling standing isolated against a background of darker green foliage above the Vale of Health. I knew it would make a good black and white subject, and am pleased that I recognised the sculptural potential. It was coveted to b&w via Lightroom using SilverFX pro.
